Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) just dropped an unhinged article basically calling for a U.S.–Russia alliance against “Eurofascism.”
They claim Europe has a “historical tendency toward totalitarianism,” paint France as the birthplace of bloody regimes from the Jacobins to Napoleon, and accuse the UK of inspiring Hitler’s concentration camps.
They drag Churchill for liking fascist Italy, accuse the British elite of ties to Nazis, and even suggest calling the UK the first “evil empire.”
They go so far as to say modern Europeans are “crazy” and blame London for escalating the war in Ukraine by supporting “fascist Kyiv.”
Meanwhile, they romanticize moments in history when the U.S. and Russia supposedly stood together like WWII, the Suez Crisis, and even the Crimean War saying it’s time to “unite again” to stop global conflict.
