US No Longer Demands Russian Troops Withdrawal from Syria.
The list of conditions that Damascus must fulfill to ease sanctions, which the US authorities handed over to the new Syrian regime, does not include a clause regarding depriving Russia of access to the Khmeimim and Tartus bases.
The US Senate had previously insisted on including the corresponding clause in the demands.
