Robert Morris, former Texas megachurch pastor and Trump adviser, indicted for child sex crimes
The American pastor, who was previously a spiritual adviser to Donald Trump, is now charged with and partially admits child abuse.
The accusations came already in the last year, and ended in Morris leaving his position as pastor of Gateway, one of the largest "mega-churches" in the United States.
This after a now grown woman accused him of abuse when she was a child in the 1980s, during a time when Morris worked as a traveling preacher. The abuse took place in Oklahoma over four years when Morris was 21 and the girl was 12.
Morris has partially confessed to the crimes to the evangelical online newspaper The Christian Post:
– "There were kisses and caresses, but no intercourse, but that was wrong", says Morris.
